Promotion Period: 1 September 2026 – 30 September 2026
1. Promotion
The Power Up & Save promotion (“Promotion”) is offered by Koppelen Global Pty Ltd trading as LGC Equipment Hire (“LGC Equipment Hire”).
2. The Offer
Eligible customers who enter into a new generator hire agreement for a minimum initial period of five consecutive weeks and a maximum hire period of six months will receive the fifth consecutive week of generator hire free of charge.
For qualifying hires that continue beyond five weeks, every fifth consecutive week of hire will be provided free of charge, up to the maximum hire period of six months.
3. Longer Hire Periods
The Promotion applies to qualifying generator hires of up to a maximum period of six months. Hire periods exceeding six months are not eligible for the Promotion.
For example:
– 5-week hire: Pay for 4 weeks, with Week 5 free.
– 6-week hire: Pay for 5 weeks, with Week 5 free.
– 7-week hire: Pay for 6 weeks, with Week 5 free.
– 10-week hire: Pay for 8 weeks, with Weeks 5 and 10 free.
– 15-week hire: Pay for 12 weeks, with Weeks 5, 10 and 15 free.
– 20-week hire: Pay for 16 weeks, with Weeks 5, 10, 15 and 20 free.
– 6-month hire: Every fifth consecutive week is free for the duration of the qualifying hire.
– Hire period exceeding 6 months: Not eligible for the Promotion.
The Promotion does not provide a free week for any period before the first five consecutive weeks of hire have been completed.
4. Multiple Units
The Promotion applies to each qualifying generator unit individually.
Where a customer hires multiple qualifying generators, the Promotion applies separately to each generator.
Where generators commence hire on different dates, the free weeks will be calculated separately for each generator based on its individual hire commencement date.
5. Eligible Equipment
The Promotion applies to all generator models owned and supplied by LGC Equipment Hire, subject to availability, including:
– 10 kVA generators
– 12.5 kVA generators
– 20 kVA generators
– 40 kVA generators
– 60 kVA generators
– 250 kVA generators
The Promotion does not apply to cross-hired equipment or generators supplied by third parties.
6. New Hires Only
The Promotion applies to new generator hire agreements entered into during the Promotion Period only.
The Promotion does not apply to:
– Existing hire contracts or agreements
– Existing generator hires
– Extensions of existing hire agreements
– Renewals of existing hire agreements
– Variations or amendments to existing hire agreements
– Hire agreements entered into prior to the commencement of the Promotion
7. Qualifying Hire
To qualify for the Promotion:
– The initial hire agreement must be for a minimum of five consecutive weeks.
– The generator must remain on hire for the relevant free week to receive the benefit.
– Every fifth consecutive week of hire will be provided free of the applicable generator hire charge.
– Each qualifying generator unit is assessed individually for the purposes of calculating free weeks.
8. Pricing
The advertised price of “from $225 per week” applies to selected generator models and is subject to the applicable hire rate and availability.
The free week applies to the generator hire charge only, unless otherwise agreed in writing by LGC Equipment Hire.
9. Additional Charges
The free week does not include additional charges that may apply to the hire, including but not limited to:
– Transport, including delivery and collection
– Fuel costs
– Excess usage
– Damage or loss
– Cleaning
– Additional equipment or accessories
– Other applicable fees or charges
These charges remain payable by the customer in accordance with the applicable hire agreement.
10. Cancellation, Early Return or Change of Hire
If a qualifying hire is cancelled, shortened, returned early or otherwise amended before a relevant free week is reached, that free week will not be provided.
Any free week not reached due to cancellation, early return or shortening of the hire will not be credited, refunded or transferred.
LGC Equipment Hire reserves the right to charge the applicable standard hire rate where the Promotion eligibility requirements are no longer met.
11. Other Offers
The Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, discount, special offer or negotiated rate unless expressly agreed by LGC Equipment Hire in writing.
12. Availability
The Promotion is subject to the availability of the applicable generator at the time of booking.
13. Promotion Period
The Power Up & Save Promotion is available for qualifying new generator hire agreements entered into between 1 September 2026 and 30 September 2026, inclusive.
The booking must be made within this Promotion Period to qualify. Hire commencement may occur after 30 September 2026, provided the qualifying hire agreement is entered into during the Promotion Period.
LGC Equipment Hire reserves the right to extend, amend, suspend or withdraw the Promotion at any time.
14. Standard Hire Terms
All qualifying hires remain subject to the standard LGC Equipment Hire Terms and Conditions, including provisions relating to the care, use, return and responsibility for hired equipment.
15. Acceptance
By accepting a qualifying hire under the Promotion, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Promotion Terms and Conditions and the applicable LGC Equipment Hire Terms and Conditions.
